এম/এস রহমান হার্ডওয়্যার অ্যান্ড স্যানিটারি ওয়্যার প্রতিষ্ঠিত হয় ১৯৮৯ সালে মরহুম প্রফেসর মোঃ গোলাম মোস্তফা কর্তৃক, ধারকাপন, মৌলভীবাজার-৩২০০, বাংলাদেশে।
প্রতিষ্ঠাতার জীবন ও দর্শন
প্রফেসর মোঃ গোলাম মোস্তফা ছিলেন একজন শ্রদ্ধেয় সরকারি কলেজ শিক্ষক, যিনি ১৯৭১ থেকে ১৯৯৭ সাল পর্যন্ত শিক্ষা ক্ষেত্রে নিষ্ঠার সঙ্গে কাজ করেছেন। তিনি ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের ছাত্র ছিলেন এবং তার কর্মজীবন শুরু হয় একটি স্বনামধন্য ব্যাংকে ব্যবস্থাপক হিসেবে। পরবর্তীতে তিনি এম.সি. কলেজ, সিলেট এবং মৌলভীবাজার সরকারি কলেজ সহ বিভিন্ন প্রতিষ্ঠানে শিক্ষকতা করেন।
শিক্ষকতার শেষদিকে তিনি এই দোকান প্রতিষ্ঠা করেন, একটি ব্যবসা নয় বরং সমাজসেবার অংশ হিসেবে। তিনি সর্বদা মানসম্মত পণ্যের প্রতি শ্রদ্ধাশীল ছিলেন এবং ন্যায্য দামের ওপর গুরুত্ব দিতেন। তার দৃষ্টিতে দোকানটি ছিল মানুষের সঠিক তথ্য, পণ্য এবং মূল্যের নির্ভরযোগ্য উৎস।
তিনি কখনোই নিম্নমানের পণ্য বিক্রি করার অনুমতি দিতেন না। প্লাম্বার বা পেইন্টারের কমিশন, অতিরিক্ত দাম বা কৃত্রিম বিলিং সম্পূর্ণভাবে নিষিদ্ধ ছিল — যা আজও কঠোরভাবে মানা হয়।

About Us
M/S Rahman Hardware & Sanitary Ware was founded in 1989 by Late Professor Md. Golam Mustafa in Dharkapon, Moulvibazar-3200, Bangladesh.
The Founder’s Legacy
Professor Golam Mustafa was not only an educator but also a man of deep values. A former student of Dhaka University, he began his career as a bank manager before dedicating his life to education, serving from 1971 to 1997 in reputed institutions such as M.C. College, Sylhet and Moulvibazar Government College.
Toward the end of his teaching career, he founded this shop—not merely as a business, but as a means to serve the community. He believed in providing quality products at fair prices and maintained a strict stance against selling low-grade items. Commissions for plumbers or painters, overpricing, and markup billing were — and still are — strictly prohibited in his shop.

Also various grades of product makes consumers very much confused which one to choose.
We believe digital platform could be the proper solution from 2015 we are using Point of sales system (POS) where we proved full specification of product , Mrp, discount and sale price in every” invoice”.
